New  Village Office Building Unveiled

     The Village Board has approved a plan to build a new Village Office and Police Department Building on the site of the present Town Hall. The Public is invited to an Open House on the night of April 1, 2008 at the Town Hall, to view the construction plans.

Formation of a local Park District

    Although the Park District question was defeated by public vote in the November 7th, 2008 election, community leaders have not abandoned this project. Due to the lack of a clear majority in favor of the formation of the Park District, it has been decided to table further discussions until a time in the near future when an organization to better study the feasability of such a project, as it relates to community needs, can be coordinated. The Friends for Park District are requesting much needed community input in how best to serve those community's needs- how we can insure the future viability of our School District, it's associated communities and attract new people to the area.
