Erie Community Unit District No.1

Unit District No. 1 is soon to become the first School District in the U.S. to have it's entire electrical power supplied by a wind turbine. The School Board and Superintendent Mike Ryan, in a partnership with Johnson Controls, have embarked on an ambitious project that will soon be realized.
